Gourmet pesto lamb burger

A big burger with green lettuce, white sauce, red onion, pattie, sliced tomatoes in filling on a black round plate. A bowl of coleslaw and glasses of drinks in the back.
A gourmet twist for these tasty lamb burgers. If dad's favourite meat is lamb this is sure to be a winning recipe for Fathers Day. Serve with side salad and chips.

  • basil pesto
  • hand cut fries
  • side salad

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place lamb patties on. Cook from frozen for 20 minutes.
  • Once the patties have 5 minutes to go, pop the brioche buns in the oven to warm.
  • To assemble: slather tzatziki onto the bottom of each bun then scatter on crumbled feta. Top with rocket and salad greens, red onion, a lamb pattie and tomato. Spoon on a generous amount of pesto on top, then top with brioche bun. Serve while hot.
