Breakfast, the most important meal of the day. Did you know oats contain more protein than most grains, it keeps you fuller for longer so you won’t be reaching for that sugar hit at morning tea time. Here is a fab Oat and Berry Smoothie recipe perfect to kickstart a busy day.
Ingredients:
½ cup Harraways Traditional Rolled Oats
1 cup milk
½ cup plain Greek-Style yoghurt
1 ripe banana, peeled
½ cup frozen blueberries or fresh or frozen berries of your choice
1 teaspoon runny honey
1 handful of ice
Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend to combine. Serve topped with fresh berries, if you wish.
