Spinach and Feta Scones
These sensational Spinach and Feta Scones are a must-bake. The perfect morning tea and everyone will marvel at them. Healthy too!
Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 tbsp butter or low fat spread
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cups baby spinach chopped
- ½ cup feta diced
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 220°C, grease a biscuit tray or pan.
- Put flour into bowl and rub in the butter/spread using your fingertips.
- Add spinach and feta and stir in buttermilk until just combined.
- Lightly knead the dough on a floured board until smooth.
- Divide the dough into approximately 9 balls. Place the balls on the greased tray just touching each other.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until scones sound hollow when tapped on the base.
- Serve hot with some butter.
