Spinach and Blue Cheese Dip

This dip is an absolutely delicious way to entertain, and blue cheese lovers will be in absolute heaven with this full flavoured dip.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cooking Time: 15 Minutes Serves: 4


1 tbsp olive oil (we love Olivado)
1/2 brown onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bag (130g) baby spinach 
1 packet blue cheese (100g) – crumbled
3/4 cup sour cream 
1/2 cup mayonnaise 
To serve
Warm bread, crackers or potato chips


  1. In a pan, soften the onion and garlic over a medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Once softened, add the spinach and cook for a couple of minutes until wilted. Leave to cool.
  2. In a bowl, add the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and seasoning. Stir to combine, until the mixture has become smooth with small blue cheese pieces. Add the spinach mix to the cream, and fold through until well combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, then serve with your desired sides.
