Instructions

  • Cook the meatballs according to the packet instructions.
  • Cook the bacon in a frying pan until crisp.
  • Heat oven on grill function. Split open the rolls and butter both sides generously. Place the bottom rolls only onto a baking sheet, buttered side up. Lightly toast under the grill. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t burn.
  • Top the bottom halves of the rolls with some salad greens, then the meatballs, a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and finish with a handful of grated cheese.
  • Toast the loaded bottom halves of the rolls and the buttered top halves (butter side up) until the cheese is melted and the buttered sides of the top halves are golden.
  • Top each sub with a strip of crisp bacon and slices of tomato.
  • Place the top halves of roll on your loaded sub and enjoy!
