Plant-based burger patties Parmigiana
An American Italian classic style parmigiana made with plant- based crumbed burger patties with tasty tomato sauce and mozzarella. Serve with pasta for a satisfying family dinner that everyone loves.
Ingredients
- 1 packet Diamond Fettuccine
- 5 Let’s Eat Plant-based Burger Patties 1 box
- 2 jars Mutti Pasta sauce with Parmigiano Reggiano 400g jars
- 150 g grated mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and place the plant-based Burger Patties on a tray. Follow the package instructions for baking.
- Pour the two jars of pasta sauce into a large pan and heat through.
- Once the burger patties are cooked, remove them from the oven. Spread 1 spoonful of the tomato sauce over each patty and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on top. Return the patties to the oven and bake until the cheese melts.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the Fettuccine and cook according to the packet instructions.
- Using tongs, transfer the cooked pasta directly from the pot into the pan with the remaining sauce. Toss to coat and heat through. Add a little pasta water if required.
- Plate the saucy pasta and place a cheesy burger patty on top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
