Curried Sausages

2 curried sausages on rice with carrot and peas
This curried sausages dish is packed with flavour and is good for those moments when you find that you have very little in the fridge and pantry. It is very quick and easy to whip up and the family are sure to love it.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 sausages
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cups vegetables of your choice sliced, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tsp curry powder

Instructions
 

  • First boil the sausages and remove the skins. Slice them up into chunks.
  • Place sausages in a saucepan with enough water to cover the meat.
  • Add onion, veggies and bring to the boil.
  • In a small bowl, mix flour and curry powder with enough cold water to make a paste.
  • Remove saucepan from the heat, stir in the paste and return to the element.
  • Bring saucepan back to a simmer and cook until veggies are done. Serve with rice or mash potatoes.

Notes

You can try another variant of this dish using mince instead of sausages.
