Baked Chicken with Worcestershire

This scrumptious Baked Chicken Breast recipe is really easy and uses a kiwi fave Worcestershire Sauce. Hard to spell, easy to say – wooster sauce!

Serves: 4


4 bone-in chicken breasts
Garlic powder or Garlic herb seasoning.
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce


  1. Spray or rub just a bit of rice bran oil on each chicken breast. Sprinkle the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish skin side up. Pour the Worcestershire sauce over them. Cover tightly with foil.
  2. Bake at 175c for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 15 minutes or until done.
  3. Variation: Instead of Worcestershire sauce, sprinkle with brown sugar.
  4. Halve the recipe for a perfect romantic baked chicken meal for 2 as shown.
