Cheesy spaghetti nests
Too busy to shop today? As long as you've got bread, butter, cheese and a tin of spaghetti, you've got dinner! Try adding ham for a meatier option, or if you'd like one of the 5+ a day in here, hide a cherry tomato in the middle of the cheesy spaghetti. Yum!
Ingredients
- 6 slices bread wholemeal or white
- 50 g butter
- 1 can spaghetti 420g
- 250 g tasty cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Butter one side of the bread then firmly press bread, butter side down, into muffin cases, ensuring the bread reaches the top of the sides of the muffin holes.
- Mix about half the cheese through the spaghetti, then divide mixture evenly between nests.
- Sprinkle the remainder of the cheese over the nests with the oregano, season to taste, and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
- Serve and enjoy.
