Eggless Chocolate Brownie
This is an amazingly chewy crunchy gooey chocolate brownie recipe that does not require any eggs! Try even if you do eat eggs.
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 2 tbsp Dutch cocoa
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp mixed spice
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 1/4 cup of milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C. Grease or line a slice tin.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter, sugar, golden syrup and milk.
- As they melt and combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl: sifted flour, cocoa and spices.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients in the bowl and stir well.
- Add vanilla, then milk with the baking soda mixed in. Mix well.
- Pour in the prepared tin. The batter should be about 2.5-3 cm deep.
- Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
- When cool, cut into 12 and dust with icing sugar.

Serve warm with fresh cream as a wonderful dessert.

Absolutely delicious, even with only putting 1/2c of sugar it was still plenty sweet enough. I’ll definitely be making it again
