Hummus homemade healthy food ideas
This is the best and easiest hummus recipe I've ever seen! You can elongate the process by soaking your own chickpeas the night before but this hummus recipe is quick and delish.

Servings 4 people


  • 300 g chickpeas (tinned) well drained
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed peeled and chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper or chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp rice bran oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon


  • Put Chickpeas and all other ingredients in the food processor and process until smooth.
  • Chill and serve as a dip with bagel crisps and crudites such as raw carrot sticks, capsicum and cucumber. Garnish with fresh herbs.
