How to cook & serve Pigs in Blankets

BBQ : Arrange the Farmland pigs in blankets far from the heat source to allow them to cook gradually, so they don’t burn or rupture. Close the lid if available. Allow the BBQ to roast the meat. Turn them regularly. Cook until golden and cooked through. Serve in hot dog buns with sauteed onions, tomato sauce and mustard.

Oven : Preheat oven to 180°C. Cook the Farmland pigs in blankets for 15 minutes. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp runny honey. Pour the mixture on the sausages, shake the tray to coat well, then return to the oven for a further 5-10 minutes until golden and cooked through. Serve on creamy mashed potatoes with roasted asparagus.

Airfryer: Place potato wedges in the airfryer basket and cook 200°C for 8 minutes. Add the Farmland pigs in blankets in the airfryer basket. Turn down the airfryer to 160°C and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Serve with creamy aioli or your favourite sauces.

Pan-fry : Put a non-stick pan over a medium heat then add the Farmland pigs in blankets. The fat from the bacon will start to come out as they warm up, turn the sausages in the hot fat to coat them. Keep cooking for 15-20 mins until golden and cooked through, turning them over regularly to cook evenly. Fry eggs and tomatoes for a full cooked breakfast. Serve with hot buttered sourdough toast.
