Father’s Day Burger
Celebrate Father's Day with this classic burger lover's delight. It features a juicy premium beef patty, flavorful and crispy bacon, topped with a large, rich fried egg. Happy Father's Day!
Ingredients
- 4 Angel Bay Premium Beef Burgers
- 8 rashers Farmland streaky bacon
- 4 Better Eggs size 8
- 1 head lettuce
- 2 tomatoes sliced
- 4 cheddar cheese slices
- 4 burger buns toasted
- Mayonnaise
- Dot’s cooking spray canola oil
- Chips to serve
- Tomato sauce to serve
Instructions
- Heat a griddle pan over medium high heat. When hot, coat with spray oil, then cook the frozen burgers according to the packet instructions.
- In a large frying pan, cook bacon rashers over medium high heat until crispy. Set aside, then cook fried eggs on the same skillet.
- To assemble the burgers: Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato, a beef patty, cheese, bacon, and a fried egg, then cap it off with the top bun. Secure it with a skewer with a special message for your dad.
- Serve immediately with chips, tomato sauce and beer.
