Fresh homemade granola
This delicious fresh homemade granola recipe is toasted with coconut oil and sweetened with honey. Enjoy every morning with natural yoghurt and fresh fruit.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Harraways rolled oats
- ¼ cup FreshLife pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup FreshLife sunflower seeds
- ½ cup FreshLife natural almonds
- ½ cup FreshLife macadamia nuts
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup coconut oil melted
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup FreshLife shredded coconut
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- In a large bowl mix the oats, nuts, seeds, salt and cinnamon.
- In a heatproof bowl or saucepan, melt coconut oil. Mix honey and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the oats mixture, stir well until it is evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto the lined baking tray in an even layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden, stirring thoroughly after the first 10 minutes.
- Remove the granola from the oven and set aside to cool.
- Once cooled add the coconut, cranberries and chocolate chips. Use a spatula or your hands to mix and break the granola apart.
- Store in airtight jars. Use within two weeks.
