Sausage, Rocket and Pesto Pizza

This pizza is a creative way to use store bought sausages, and the flavours pack a punch with minimal effort. What more could you want!

Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 25 Minutes Makes: 1 Pizza


2 pork sausages (we love Hellers London Pride)
1 pizza base
Olive oil (we love Olivado)
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 cup fresh rocket
1 cup grated mozzarella
2 tbsp fresh pesto


  1. Cook the sausages in the pan or oven until completely cooked through (follow pack instructions). Set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees celsius. Place the pizza base on an oven tray, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven, and assemble the pizza. Spread the base with the pizza sauce, then top with fresh rocket. Slice the sausages, then evenly place on top of the rocket. Season, then sprinkle over the mozzarella and place back in the oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has completely melted and it slightly golden.
  4. To serve, drizzle over the pesto once removed from the oven and eat immediately.
