Broccoli and Cheese Pie

Tasty and filling; serve this broccoli and cheese pie with a pile of salad leaves and tomato slices.

Serves: 4

Ingredients

1 sheet ready rolled puff pastry
1 tsp grainy mustard
1½ cups small broccoli florets
¼ cup grated Edam cheese
2 eggs
¼ cup milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. Line a 20 cm diameter round dish with pastry.
  3. Spread mustard over the pastry.
  4. Place broccoli on mustard and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over broccoli.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and egg mixture set.
