For the Maple Glaze:

Instructions

  • Heat a griddle pan over medium high heat. When hot, coat it with spray oil, then cook the burger patties according to the packet instructions.
  • Just before the patties are fully cooked, top each one with a cheese slice and cook for another 1 1/2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • In a large frying pan, cook the bacon rashers over medium high heat until crispy, then set aside.
  • Wipe out the pan and use it to toast the cut side of the brioche buns lightly.
  • Combine all the Maple Glaze ingredients together in a small saucepan and cook for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • To assemble the burgers: Spread a generous amount of tomato ketchup on the bottom bun, add two beef patties and two rashers of crispy bacon.
  • Drizzle the cooled Maple Glaze generously over the burger before capping it off with the top half of the bun. Have some paper towels ready because this is going to get sticky!
