PeaNOT butter hummus with veggie sticks
Kids love snacks with dips so send them off to school with this healthy treat. We keep the hummus extra simple to satisfy the fussiest of eaters. If you’re making the hummus for adults (or more adventurous eaters) then add a garlic clove and extra virgin olive oil.

- Equipment: Braun Multiquick 9 Hand Blender
Ingredients
Hummus
- ½ cup The VGood Company peaNOT chickpea butter smooth
- 1 can Chantal Organics chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ - ½ cup of warm water as needed
- salt to taste
Veggie options
- celery sticks
- carrot sticks
- cucumber sticks
- capsicum cut into sticks
- snow peas
Instructions
- Add all hummus ingredients except warm water to a blender. Blend until smooth, adding water until your desired consistency. Season to taste with salt.
- Pour hummus into pottles for lunchboxes. Serve with your favourite veggies, crackers and treats.
