Tomato chutney
Ingredients
- 500 g tomatoes
- 250 g red onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 fresh red chilli
- 60 ml DYC Apple Cider vinegar
- 150 g brown sugar
Instructions
- Chop the onions, tomatoes and garlic.
- Combine all ingredients in a pot. Simmer on a low heat for 30 – 40 minutes stirring often. The chutney is ready when it is a jam-like consistency.
- Spoon the chutney into sterilized jars and set aside to cool.
- Once opened, store in the fridge.
Notes
Store the chutney in a cool dark place for up to 6 months unopened.
